In my previous career as a fashion model, I traveled the world and was exposed to many different designers over the years.  I am particularly influenced by fashion designers like Victoria Beckham and Tom Ford.

I decided to start Fabboshlane.com to bring my particular edgy fashion style to women at an affordable price with the hope of further empowering them.  My online store KatwalkLabel.com is a natural extension of my blog, allowing me to market my fashion picks directly to my target audience.

One of my current obsessions is high-waisted jeans because they are so comfortable and versatile.  They go perfectly with t-shirts and blouses for a more casual look or can be dressed up with high heels and bomber jacket for a more street style chic look.

This is a tough question as I believe all details are integral to a perfect ensemble., but if I could choose only two those would be shoes and bags.

People often form lasting impressions by looking at a person’s footwear and what that says about their owner.  The right bag is both functional and acts as the critical ornament that pulls a look together.

My camera or camera phone of course!  And business cards because I firmly agree that success is when opportunity meets preparation.

I feel lucky to live in Singapore where there are so many varied types of locations for photo shoots that I can choose from, including beach, historical buildings, rooftops, parks or simply busy city streets.  I confess that I have yet to explore many of the other beautiful sites of Singapore.

I am particularly fond of the Empress Place area and all its gorgeous historical buildings and HortPark with its spectacular gardens.  You can find these locations featured in my blog lookbook.

Never give up and stay true to yourself.  It can take many months to build up your base of followers and it is easy to get discouraged.  I am still in the middle of this process myself.  Those who persevere will ultimately be rewarded.
