Starting out in a new job or switching career midway more often than not comes with a set of new challenges. What should you do to be fully prepared? Here’s what Associate Professor Ho advises:
1) “Find out the necessary skill sets required and be furnished with them, so that you can be competent in your new job.”
2) “Learn to be passionate in what you do, otherwise you survive and before long, you’ll find yourself quitting.”
3) “Be focused and set your mind to achieve your career goals. Mapping out short term and long term goals helps to keep one focused, so that they can be achieved without you losing track along the way.”
