We spend an average of six minutes eating a meal but our brains take 15 to 20 minutes to receive the signals we’re feeling full. Speed eating is a major weight-gain trap. If you chew each mouthful 2- times and put down your cutlery down between each bite, you’ll consume 420 fewer calories each meal.
