South Korea’s popular singer and actor T.O.P of boy band BIGBANG has been hospitalised for an apparent drug overdose, according to his Seoul-based agency.
YG Entertainment said the 29-year-old rapper was found unconscious and is currently receiving treatment at an intensive care unit of a Seoul hospital.
Citing police, Yonhap news agency said T.O.P appeared to have overdosed on tranquilisers that he had been taking for medical reasons.

T.O.P., whose real name is Choi Seung Hyun, was found unconscious overnight and has been receiving treatment at an intensive care unit. The 29-year-old singer and actor apparently overdosed on tranquilizers he had been taking for medical reasons. His hospitalisation comes off the heels of a marijuana scandal.
