Back in 2003, Christine kick-started her entrepreneurial journey by selling party items and balloons. That experience resulted in a working relationship with convenience chain, 7-11, which then led to her company taking over the distribution of Tao Kae Noi seaweed products from Thailand (as she was the only business partner who was conversant in Thai). Business with her Thai associates has flourished over the last 15 years and from one brand, they now distribute 18 brands. Today, San SeSan has an annual turnover of about 12 million. Christine, who did not start out thinking of selling snacks, shares the importance of keeping an open mind when it comes to business:
