A local family favourite snack and street food, muar chee is simply cooked glutinous rice balls coated with crushed peanuts, ground sesame seeds and sugar.
1Mix together glutinous rice flour, water and shallot oil, and place in bread pan.
2With 10 mins left, stir dough with wooden chopstick.
3When about to serve, mix together sugar, ground peanut and blended sesame seeds.
4Once dough is ready, cut into bite-sized pieces and coat with peanut mixture.
