Easy Spinach, Kale & Grapefruit Smoothie

Fuel up your body and power through the work week with this delicious, health-boosting smoothie by chef Megan May.

  • Yields: Serves 2


1 handful kale

1 handful spinach

1 grapefruit, peeled, pith removed (leave seeds in)

2 tbsps parsley, chopped

2 tbsps mint, chopped

1 pear, unpeeled, cored

½ banana or ¼ avocado (to help make it creamy)

250 ml water

Squeeze lemon or lime juice, to your taste

¼ cup fennel bulb, chopped (optional)


1Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
