Make regular butter cookies more decadent with this easy recipe for maple syrup butter cookies!
- 125 g butter, softened
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- ¾ cup plain flour
- ¼ cup cornflour

Preheat oven to 180 C. Grease two large oven trays and line with baking paper.
Beat butter, extract and maple syrup in a small bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy; stir in combined sifted flours. Spoon mixture into a piping bag fitted with 1-cm fluted tube.
Pipe stars 3 cm apart onto trays. Bake for about 15 mins; cool cookies on tray.
