When the tiramisu cravings kick in, there is only one way to curb it. But not all of us can spare the time or effort to get out the mascarpone cheese and electric mixer. This recipe is a twist on the traditional tiramisu, and it’s simple enough to make for those of us who are not experienced bakers – plus it’s alcohol-free, making it a nice kid-friendly treat.


  • 4 slices of bread
  • 10g sugar
  • 30g Milo powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk

Stack 2 slices of bread together. Slice off the edges of the bread and shape it to fit your pan.

Do the same for the other 2 slices of bread for the second portion of Milo tiramisu.


Add Milo powder, milk, sugar and egg into a bowl and mix well.


Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celcius.


Place a slice of bread in the pan and strain the Milo mixture in. Ensure that the bread is soaked.


Add another slice of bread into the pan and place into oven to bake for 20 mins.


Remove from oven when done and add a generous heaping of Milo powder on top. Additional toppings like grated chocolate can be added according to your preference.

Dig in and enjoy your Milo tiramisu!
