A fresh and rejuvenating almond and avocado protein smoothie is all you need, whether it’s a morning energy hit, a post-workout treat or simply a healthful, guilt-free beverage to get you through the afternoon. High in protein, dietary fibre, healthy fats and vitamin C and E.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp protein powder, vanilla flavour (lactose- and gluten-free)
  • 2 tbsps almond butter
  • ½ medium ripe avocado, peeled, seed removed
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ medium banana
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Place ingredients in high speed blender in order. Blend on high speed for about 1 min or until smooth and creamy.
