- 30 g butter
- 750 g baby carrots
- 2 tsps finely grated orange rind
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 2 tbsps dry white wine
- 2 tbsps maple syrup
- ½ cup coarsely chopped roasted hazelnuts
Add orange rind, juice, wine and maple syrup to pan; bring to the boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until liquid has almost evaporated and carrots are tender and caramelised.
Serve carrots sprinkled with hazelnuts.
