These maple-glazed baby carrots are the ultimate delicious, fuss-free vegetable recipe for the holidays. Besides taking little to no time to prepare, they are guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth pre-dessert. Who could ever possibly turn them down?


  • 30 g butter
  • 750 g baby carrots
  • 2 tsps finely grated orange rind
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsps dry white wine
  • 2 tbsps maple syrup
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped roasted hazelnuts
Melt butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook carrots until almost tender.

Add orange rind, juice, wine and maple syrup to pan; bring to the boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until liquid has almost evaporated and carrots are tender and caramelised.


Serve carrots sprinkled with hazelnuts.
