This cooling traditional Asian drink is great for helping with blood circulation, and is best enjoyed on hot and humid days.
- 3 L water
- 5 pandan leaves, knotted
- 1-2 cups dried red dates, deseeded
- 1 cup dried longan
- Rock sugar, to taste
Place all the ingredients in a big pot, bring to boil then simmer on low heat for an hour.
Add rock sugar to taste and stir till dissolve.
Strain the liquid into a water jug using the strainer. Serve in a tall glass. Add longans if preferred.
