Fuel up your body and power through the work week with this delicious, health-boosting smoothie by chef Megan May.
- 1 handful kale
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 grapefruit, peeled, pith removed (leave seeds in)
- 2 tbsps parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsps mint, chopped
- 1 pear, unpeeled, cored
- ½ banana or ¼ avocado (to help make it creamy)
- 250 ml water
- Squeeze lemon or lime juice, to your taste
- ¼ cup fennel bulb, chopped (optional)
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
