1Add chopped shallots, garlic, dried chillies, chili padi, ginger, meat curry powder, canola oil in a food processor or blender.
2Pour blended mixture into a large pot with oil. Sauté until cooked. Then add water, coconut milk and stir well.
3Add chicken pieces, stir and mix evenly on low heat for 5 minutes. Then simmer on medium heat till gravy thickens.
4Garnish with turmeric leaves before serving.
