A crispy, chocolatey bar slice that takes less than half an hour to prepare and is forgivingly no-bake is all one can ask for when looking for a quick and easy homemade treat.
Grease a 18 cm x 28 cm slice pan. Line base and two long sides with baking paper, extending paper 5 cm above edge of pan.
Place Mars Bar and butter in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat for 5 mins or until melted.
Place Rice Bubbles in a large heatproof bowl. Add Mars Bar mixture; stir to combine. Press mixture firmly into pan. Refrigerate until firm.
Combine chocolate and oil in a medium heatproof bowl. Place bowl over a medium saucepan of simmering water (don’t let water touch base of bowl); stir until chocolate is melted and smooth. Spread evenly over slice. Refrigerate until set.
Using a hot knife, cut into small bars.
TIP The mixture may look separated when melting the Mars Bars and butter, but will come back together after stirring for about 5 mins. Store the slice in an airtight container in the fridge.
