The area is relatively quiet, with mainly low-rise buildings surrounding the estate. Buangkok MRT is the nearest MRT station, about five minutes if you drive and there are several primary schools and secondary schools in the vicinity.

For those who drive to work downtown, CTE is easily accessible from Buangkok Green towards Ang Mo Kio Ave 5.

The estate overlooks the Yishun industrial park and is at the corner of Sungai Simpang Giri river, with a park nearby.

Canberra is an up-and-coming estate, with several projects both from HDB and private developers that are currently in construction. You can expect a bustling neighbourhood in the near future, especially with the Canberra MRT station on the North-South line which is under construction. The station is expected to complete in 2019, well before the project is slated for completion in 2020.

Drivers can access the CTE via Seletar West Link to head downtown.

Similar to Buangkok Woods, Valley Spring @ Yishun also features 2-Room Flexi (36 sqm and 45sqm), 3- and 4-Room. There are six 14-storey residential blocks with 824 units to choose from. There is also a child care centre and a residents’ committee centre within premises.

The estate is located near the junction of Yishun Avenue 6 and Yishun Avenue 8, and is surrounded by lush greenery. High-floor units facing north-east, east and south-east will be able to view Seletar Reservoir and The Straits of Singapore.

Driver can access the CTE easily from Seletar West Link and the nearest MRT station would be Yishun MRT which is on the North-South line.

Prices start from $79,000 for the 2-Room Flexi, $156,000 for 3-Room and $251,000 for 4-Room flats.

Which Project Should You Choose In The Latest HDB BTO Launch - Tampines Green Verge

Tampines GreenView and Tampines GreenVerge

The projects in Tampines are the only ones from a mature estate in the most recent launch of the HDB BTOs. Tampines GreenView is located between Tampines North Drive 1 and Tampines Avenue 11 while Tampines GreenVerge is located along Tampines Avenue 9. Both projects feature 3-, 4-, 5-Room units, and there will be 3Gen units available at Tampines GreenVerge. There will be 714 units to choose from at Tampines GreenView, and 2,022 units at Tampines GreenVerge.

Tampines GreenView is further away from Tampines MRT when compared to Tampines GreenVerge. Tampines GreenVerge features a childcare centre and shop within the premises, making it convenient if you have younger children. Tampines GreenVerge has a better location when compared to Tampines GreenView, with a park to the east of the estate, as well as being closer to the MRT station and TPE exit.

Tampines central has all the makings of a great mature estate – well-developed areas, amenities and schools. However, due to the size and number of units available, the completion time for this project is the longest, with Tampines GreenView slated for completion in 3Q 2019 and Tampines GreenVerge for 3Q 2021.

Prices start from $202,000 for the 3-Room, $289,000 for 4-Room and $398,000 for 5-Room and $428,000 for 3Gen units.
