Rachel is an avid self-starter whose mantra to live life on the edge has propelled her and Love, Bonito to the forefront of the regional fast-fashion industry. As Co-founder of the fast expanding brand, Rachel’s role stretches beyond marketing, branding and design. She also oversees community building, content creation and customer service – areas that elevate the brand notches above the rest. Having started her own online fashion business at the tender age of 19 when e-commerce was minimal, Rachel revolutionised and headlined the spheres of online retail, redefining the fashion scene in Singapore and growing her $500 blogshop outfit into a multi-million dollar label.
Elizabeth is a visionary leader who is relentless for growth, with a love for building consumer brands and a believer that business is a force for doing good. Elizabeth was the CEO of Heatwave Shoes for 8 years, a fast growing shoe retailer from Singapore that grew from 1 to 60 stores across 10 countries. She is also passionate about social impact, being the founder of Sight to Sky, a non-profit organization that brings primary eye care and vision to the most remote parts of the world. Having impacted more than 15,000 people across the Himalayan region, she is currently leading the organization‘s transition into a social enterprise model by building an micro-eye clinic chain to solve the rural eye care challenge.
Jaelle Ang is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Great Room – a premium, hospitality centric co-working operator in Asia. Prior to this venture, she was part of the founding team at SET-listed company, Country Group Development Public Company Limited in Thailand, heading the development of one of
the largest mixed-use development in Bangkok, including the Four Seasons Hotel, Four Seasons
Residences and Capella Hotel. Her role includes master planning, design conceptualization,
fundraising and corporate strategy from 2009 – 2016, and she is also currently on the Board of
Directors. She also spent a few years in Citibank and Credit Suisse doing Strategy and M&A for Asian emerging market.
Karen Tok is the founder of multiple award winning Biotech recruitment firm ScienTec
Consulting Pte Ltd. Under her leadership, ScienTec Consulting has garnered over 20 prestigious industry awards, including Asia Recruitment Grand Winner, Recruitment Agency of the Year, Best Client Services and Best In-House Training. These awards were in recognition of the company’s high service standards driven by its core value – ‘People First, Always’. Karen’s success
in the Biotech Recruitment space has made her a much sought-after opinion leader who is
often quoted in The Business Times and The Strait Times. Her thought leadership articles have also
been published in Human Resource, HRM and BioSpectrum magazine.
Maddy is arguably Singapore’s highest rated English radio female presenter and currently
helms Kiss92 FM‘s top-rated breakfast show. With over 15 years of experience in broadcast, she is also the founder of award-winning luxury jewellery design house, MADLY Gems. At 44, Maddy has
done more in her life than most would even dare dream of. The many hats she has worn stretches from commercial to corporate, and entrepreneurial to parenting. A happily married wife and mother of two, including a 22-year-old who will be graduating with a bachelor’s in Architecture later this year, Maddy is known most famously in the media industry as both a radio DJ, and sought after emcee and speaker.
Cheryl is the Founder of The Breathe Movement, and Festival Director of the Singapore Mental Health Film Festival. She has dedicated her life to uncover the dark and light within herself, constantly expanding her inner awareness to observe the intricate stories that surface with each layer. Previously
from the advertising world where she educated the masses on brand stories, she has switched her focus to using raw human stories to inspire courage and love in others. Her passion in social justice and mental health drives her to serve the society at large.
