If this were 2018, we would be packing our bags and heading to another country to bask in the sun while laying on the beach. Maybe we would be donning on summer dresses and spreading large amounts of sunscreen on while smiling for the camera. In this pandemic world, however, that proves to be harder than we'd like it to be.
But though travel is largely out of the question still, there are other ways to indulge in holiday reveries, such as through the power of scent. A lot of research has suggested that our sense of smell might be the most evocative of the key senses, and is closely tied to memories and emotions. Simply put, the best way to imagine or recall a fab vacay is to smell it.
