Best Beauty Buys is The Singapore Women’s Weekly’s annual round up of the best and most effective products currently on the shelves. This year, we spotlight the skincare and makeup needs of busy mums who juggle children and demanding jobs who want to look and feel good doing it. The products were road-tested by a group of such multi-tasking women, and these are their picks.

Skincare is self-care. In the perfect world, we have the time to unwind with a relaxing facial at the salon. In reality, we are all time-strapped and are looking to claw back some time for ourselves and loved ones while not compromising on the efficacy of our beauty routine.

Here's where face masks and oils come in. The former provides a flood of benefits much like a serum does but in a more elevated and pampering manner. Besides providing a hit of moisture, the application of facial oils also provides a much more luxurious skincare experience that we can supplement with a quick facial massage. So even if you only have five minutes to self-care with skincare, add these face masks and oils to make the experience better while reaping greater skincare benefits.
