I have been hypnotised by those head spa ASMR videos while scrolling through TikTok.

My scalp is begging for that deep clean, scrub-till-you-drop treatment, but here’s the kicker: all the heavenly head spas seem to be in China or Vietnam.

Of course, I’ve commented “TAKE MY MONEY!” on those TikTok head spa videos like everyone else. Thus, I made it my personal mission to find these relaxing sessions across the border — in Johor Bahru (JB), Malaysia, to be exact. Here are the best head spas in JB I found.

TTE Elephant Headspa

TTE Elephant Headspa is Southeast Asia’s first Korean flower head spa, known for its science-backed Sleep Therapy & Scalp Detox ritual that combines AI scalp analysis, meridian massage and a real flower–infused bath for deep relaxation and scalp reset.

Their star treatment here is their express 30-minute head spa for just RM39 (S$12.60) — at their KSL and Mount Austin branches.

Here’s what goes down during the 30-minute sesh:

If you’ve got more time to spare, consider their longer head spa options:

90-minute head spa - RM219 (S$70.73): Designed to ease stiff, tense shoulders and neck while deeply pampering your scalp.
