If you're as obsessed about sun protection as we are, you'll know how difficult it can be to have to reapply sunscreen throughout the day. Especially when it's recommended that you reapply sunscreen every two hours. The same goes for when you're indoors or working from home as well.

Apply it before your makeup

Okay, this one's a no-brainer. Before you apply your makeup, put sunscreen on. While it's true that a little goes a long way, when it comes to sunscreen we should always err on the end of generosity. In practice, you should apply around two finger-length worth of sunscreen to your face alone. Meaning two strips of sunscreen running the lengths of your index and middle finger.

Get makeup with SPF

These days, plenty of foundation and concealers come with SPF protection. So make sure you load up on them if you're trying to reapply sunscreen. Most Korean BB cushions even come with an SPF value of 50++ so you can reapply them on the go!

Powder up

If you don't usually go full-coverage with your BB cushions, they might not offer you as much coverage as you need. An alternative is to get mineral powder sunscreen. Just like loose setting powder, mineral sunscreen can be dusted all over your face for that extra protection. All while keeping your face shine-free, even in Singapore's climate.

Spray it on

These days, there are plenty of different spray-on sunscreens that you can use throughout the day to reapply sunscreen. Keep in mind that if you’re using a sunscreen spray, you'll need to spray enough so that there's an even sheen across the skin. It might look like too much at first, but it will absorb easily into the skin and keep it glowing all day.

We rounded up some of our favourite lightweight choices that make it easier for you to reapply sunscreen throughout the day.
