These Are The Soft Drinks That Won't Affect Your Weight Too Much
It can be really hard keeping to your sugar limit especially when you eat out often. Sugar is sneakily added into just about any foods. A standard portion of bubble tea contains a whopping 52.6g sugar, by the way.
The Health Promotion Board recommends no more than eight to 11 teaspoons of added sugar daily, which works out to 40 to 55g. A 330ml serving of coke (330ml) has close to 7 teaspoons of sugar – more than half your daily sugar quota.
We scoured the supermarket to find popular soft drinks with less than four teaspoons (20g) of sugar per 250ml serving. Sugar-free choices like Heaven & Earth Ayataka and Pokka Oolong Tea are not included in the list, but they’re definitely healthier choices if you don’t mind the bitterness of the teas.
For those who want a sweet treat without busting their sugar limit, choose from these lower-sugar drinks.
