Australian artist Cj Hendry’s viral Flower Market might be over, but families can step into her colourful new world at Juju World, a giant inflatable experience inspired by her popular Juju collectibles. Disney magic also arrives in Sentosa with A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line, featuring giant character displays, illuminated trails, themed photo spots and family-friendly activities across the island.

Get closer to nature at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, where kids can explore the new Rainforest Wild Adventure East with Afro-tropical landscapes. Continue the adventure at the Singapore Oceanarium, where you can meet eight endangered hawksbill turtle hatchlings being cared for under a special conservation programme.

ART:DIS Pocket Fest returns from Jul 4 to 5 with inclusive art activities, hands-on workshops, performances and exhibitions. It’s also NDP fireworks season, with National Day Parade rehearsals and preview weekends lighting up the skies ahead of Aug 9. Families can catch the fireworks, soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy an evening picnic at one of the free viewing spots nearby. Kids who are still not over KPop Demon Hunters can look forward to its one-year anniversary landing in Singapore, with plenty of photo spots, fun activities, and exclusive merch for them to enjoy.

Football fans can catch the Fifa World Cup 2026 action at Chijmes and Capitol Singapore, where Football Fever 2026 offers free football clinics, drone soccer games, digital player avatars and family-friendly activities alongside live match screenings.

For those who missed its sold-out 2017 run, Chicken Little is back on stage, bringing its fun-filled musical to families once again. Older kids and teens can also explore the imaginative worlds of Portals, an immersive sci-fi and fantasy-themed exhibition with eight themed realms, including a Singapore-exclusive vision of the city in 2126.

KFC Karnival Showdown

The first-ever KFC Karnival Showdown is coming to *Scape Outdoor Plaza, just in time for International Fried Chicken Day. Families can pick a side – Team Original or Team Crispy – and take on carnival games where the more you play, the more food rewards you unlock.

Your ticket includes a KFC x Coca-Cola goodie bag with a limited-edition team jersey and tote bag, plus an arrival Bucket Meal with tenders, Hot & Spicy Chicken Bites, fries, whipped potato, dips and drinks. Kids and grown-ups can then try game stations like the Red Bull F1 Agility Game, Finger Lickin’ Match Game and Balloon Pop Battle to win extra chicken bites, tenders, fries, whipped potato or mac & cheese.

NDP2026 rehearsal fireworks (Free!)

It’s that time of the year again – NDP fireworks season! The National Day Parade 2026 will celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday at the National Stadium, and families can look forward to catching fireworks during the rehearsals and preview weekends leading up to 9 August.

You don’t have to wait till the actual parade to enjoy the show. NDP rehearsals are a great way to soak up the atmosphere early, especially if your kids love fireworks, fly-pasts and all things red-and-white. The fireworks displays start at around 7.30pm, with the finale fireworks at around 9.10pm. 

So pack some snacks, bring along picnic mats and head to a free viewing spot nearby to watch the sky light up with the kids.

ART:DIS Pocket Fest

ART:DIS Pocket Fest returns for its second edition from Jul 4 to 5, bringing families a colourful line-up of inclusive art activities, workshops, performances and exhibitions.

Kids can get hands-on with free activities from 11am to 5pm, including Acrylic Keychain making, Suncatcher Fan decorating and Twine-it!, where they can turn fabric straps into handmade charms. There’s also Imaginative Garden, a collaborative activity where children can help paint a larger-than-life cardboard garden, and My Community, where families can contribute to a giant community tapestry.

For kids who enjoy more guided art-making, there are ticketed workshops such as Ceramic Bud Vase, Caricature 101, Cyanotype Print Tote Bag, Linocut Hand-Printed Essentials and Ceramic Plate Painting. Families can also catch performances, browse exhibitions by ART artists and shop artist-made gifts.

SAM’s annual Art Carnival (Free!)

Singapore Art Museum turns 30 this year, and its annual SAM Art Carnival is back with a festive weekend of free family fun. For one weekend only, families can enjoy free admission to SAM’s exhibitions, including Hiroshi Sugimoto: Form Is Emptiness, Talking Objects and The Living Room.

Kids can get creative with a line-up of drop-in activities, from making “Bouncy Clips” hair accessories to trying watercolour fun at Colour Mix Creations. Little ones can also design Colour Your Garden bookmarks, fold paper creations at the Origami Craft Station, and join in classic carnival games along the way.

Singapore Symphony Orchestra Concerts for Families 2026-2027

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra has the perfect programming for parents who want to introduce classical music to kids in a fun, relaxed and genuinely engaging way. Its Family Concerts 2026/27 line-up at Victoria Concert Hall is designed with young audiences in mind, so children can experience the magic of a live orchestra without the pressure of sitting still in total silence.

For the September school holidays, families can catch Little Red Riding Hood, but with a Roald Dahl twist. This feisty version of Little Red is no damsel in distress, and kids can watch as the Singapore Symphony Orchestra teams up with actors from Dandi Productions to bring the story to life through music, theatre, clever lighting and bold costumes.

For younger tots, the much-loved SSO Babies’ Proms returns in October, inviting little ones to discover orchestral instruments, move along to the music and enjoy a lively introduction to classical sounds with presenter William “Uncle Bill” Ledbetter.

K-Pop Demon Hunters One Year Anniversary Pop-Up (Free!)  

KPop Demon Hunters fans, this one’s for the kids who are still not over Huntrix, Saja Boys and Derpy. The KPop Demon Hunters One Year Anniversary Pop-up has landed in Singapore, bringing plenty of photo spots, activities and merch for little fans to enjoy.

Snap photos at themed setups, including the Golden billboard with Huntrix, a traditional Korean-style backdrop with Derpy, and character walls featuring Huntrix and Saja Boys. For kids who want to get into their idol era, there are makeover activities too. Slava’s Snowshow

Slava’s Snowshow is bringing its whimsical world of clowning, comedy and wonder to the stage, promising a family-friendly performance unlike your usual theatre outing.

Chicken Little 天降奇鸡

If you’ve been meaning to book tickets to Chicken Little, here’s your sign to move fast. The beloved musical is back after its sold-out 2017 run, and tickets are already mostly snapped up, with the best remaining availability on Aug 9 for the Mandarin performances and Aug 29 for the English performances.

Recommended for children aged three and above, this 60-minute musical follows poor Chicken Little, who is teased for being afraid of almost everything. But when something falls on her head and she becomes convinced that the sky is falling, she sets off on a mission to warn the King. Along the way, kids will meet colourful farmyard characters like Cocky Locky, Ducky Daddles and Turkey Lurkey – while keeping an eye out for the sneaky Foxy Loxy.

Let’s Set Sail by Disney Cruise Line at Sentosa

Disney Cruise Line magic is sailing into Sentosa this school holiday season with A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line. From Jun 24 to Sep 20 2026, the island will transform into a day-to-night Disney-inspired adventure, with installations and activities inspired by the seven themed areas aboard the upcoming Disney Adventure cruise ship.

Families can start at Palawan Beach, where you’ll find a 6-metre inflatable anchor, sand sculptures of Captain Mickey and Minnie Mouse, a giant Baymax inflatable, and Toy Story-inspired bath toys that are perfect for photos. Juju World Pop-up by Cj Hendry

After drawing massive crowds overseas with her viral Flower Market, Australian artist Cj Hendry is bringing another playful experience to Singapore - and this one is made for families who love bold, colourful art. From Jun 20 to Jul 18, 2026, Juju World will make its world premiere at Imba Theatre at Gardens by the Bay, marking the first inflatable experience dedicated to Hendry’s beloved juju collectible series.

Unlike a quiet gallery visit where kids are reminded not to touch anything every five minutes, juju world is designed to feel playful, immersive and larger than life. The experience transforms Hendry’s collectible toy series into a surreal inflatable world, with a bright yellow colourway created specially for this debut.

Baby Shark River Cruise by WaterB

Crybaby Cry Me an Ocean Activation Dives into Resorts World Sentosa’s Singapore Oceanarium

Pop Mart fans, there’s a new reason to head to Resorts World Sentosa with the kids. Crybaby Cry Me an Ocean is taking over the Singapore Oceanarium, transforming the beloved Crybaby character into adorable marine creatures across an ocean-themed trail.

This is the first Crybaby activation to be staged inside a real oceanarium, with 11 photo zones featuring outdoor inflatables, life-sized sculptures and immersive photo spots placed alongside marine habitats. Before even entering the Oceanarium, families can spot two towering five-metre inflatables – The Anglerfish and The Pufferfish – perfect for larger-than-life photos. Inside, look out for The Whaleshark, a two-metre sculpture that marks the start of the indoor trail.

As families explore the galleries, from Ocean Wonders to the Shark Seas tunnel and Open Ocean viewing panel, kids can also learn more about the Crybaby marine characters through storyboards that introduce their personalities and the animals they represent. Portals Experience

For older kids who are into fantasy, sci-fi, gaming or miniature worlds, Portals is one of the more unusual exhibitions to check out this school holiday. Held at Fever Exhibition Hall on Scotts Road, this world-first immersive experience spans 13,000 sq ft and brings together more than 300 original artworks, huge dioramas and over 10,000 miniatures.

Instead of relying on digital screens, Portals celebrates old-school craftsmanship. Families can wander through eight themed realms filled with hand-painted fantasy and sci-fi artwork, including original book cover pieces created in oil, acrylic and gouache. 

One major highlight is the collection of massive battle dioramas, including the detailed Forever War display, which will appeal to kids who enjoy strategy games, model-making or worldbuilding. There’s also a Singapore-exclusive series, Future Singapore: 2126, by local illustrator Kristal Melson, imagining what the city might look like a century from now.

Do note that the exhibition carries an Advisory 16 rating for some mature themes, so it’s best suited for teenagers, young adults and parents who are happy to walk through with them.

Skypark at Sentosa launches 44m-high Skyslides by Klook

For your young daredevils, Skypark at Sentosa has returned - and with the thrilling new Skyslides by Klook, a dual-slide experience born from a collab with the platform. This is in addition to the existing Bungy Jump, Giant Swing, and Skybridge attractions.

Whoosh down two different slides, Skydrop and the Big Klook Slide, both standing at 44m high (Southeast Asia’s tallest dry slides). The blue Skydrop starts with a brief drop element, then quickly transitions into a curved path for a dynamic and exciting ride. Families or younger riders may prefer the Big Klook Slide, which offers a more relaxed, scenic alternative from the same height.

Jewel Blooms with Lego Botanicals

If your child is obsessed with Lego, make a beeline for Jewel Changi Airport. Jewel Blooms with Lego Botanicals is transforming the airport into a colourful floral wonderland, featuring the largest Lego Botanicals showcase in Southeast Asia, built from an incredible 800,000 Lego bricks.

The first things families will spot are the towering two-metre-tall Lego Roses structures blooming among the lush greenery of the Forest Valley. These larger-than-life creations make for fantastic family photos and are especially impressive when set against Jewel’s iconic indoor garden backdrop.

The adventure continues at Canopy Park, where kids can explore a series of intricate “Gardens of the World” displays inspired by famous landscapes and floral destinations. Pokemon-themed cable cars and Mount Faber Leisure Group’s June promos

Pokemon Centre reopening at Jewel (Free!)

Here’s more good news for Pokemon fans: the Pokemon Center at Jewel is reopening on Jul 1, 2026 after a major makeover, and it is bringing plenty of new surprises with it.

The refreshed store will welcome visitors with a brand-new centrepiece featuring Pikachu and the legendary Pokémon Solgaleo against a backdrop inspired by Singapore’s skyline. Solgaleo, a lion-like Pokemon, was chosen as a nod to Singapore’s nickname as the Lion City.

Meet 8 hawksbill turtle hatchlings at Singapore Oceanarium

There’s a new group of tiny ocean stars to meet at the Singapore Oceanarium – and they’re only here for a limited time. In collaboration with NParks, the Oceanarium is currently caring for eight endangered hawksbill turtle hatchlings as part of a special “headstart” conservation programme designed to give them a stronger chance of surviving in the wild.

Here’s an important fact to know: the odds are incredibly tough for sea turtles, with only about one in 1,000 hatchlings surviving into adulthood. To help tip the scales, these little ones are being raised under round-the-clock care until they grow bigger, stronger and better equipped for life in the open ocean.

Originally hatched at NParks’ turtle hatchery on Small Sisters’ Island, the turtles have now moved into a specially designed habitat at the Oceanarium’s Horizontal Migration Zone, where families can observe them up close. The enclosure is carefully designed to mimic natural conditions while shielding the hatchlings from human interaction, helping them develop natural behaviours like foraging before their eventual release.

For kids especially, it’s a rare chance to see young sea turtles during one of the most vulnerable stages of their lives, and a lovely way to spark conversations about marine conservation.

Rainforest Wild Adventure (second phase)

PSA: Rainforest Wild Adventure is opening its second phase from May 20, completing the full 20-hectare experience across habitats inspired by the rainforests of Asia and Africa. Better still, one park ticket now covers both zones, with selected Adventure+ activities included.

For families, the big win is how this park blends wildlife with movement and play. There are wide walkways and forest treks suitable for strollers and wheelchairs, but also plenty of low-barrier adventure elements for active kids. In the new East zone (formerly Rainforest Wild Africa), families can try experiences like the Canopy Glider and Ravine Swing, while little explorers on foot can wander through habitats where animal sightings feel more like spontaneous discoveries than fixed “look here” exhibits.

The East zone is themed around Afro-tropical and Madagascan landscapes, with animals including pygmy hippos, eastern bongos, red river hogs, Nile lechwe and a multi-species Madagascar habitat. Here’s a new stop at Universal Studios Singapore. Superstar Boutique and Superstar Cafe have officially opened, bringing a cheerful dose of kawaii magic to the park with shopping, sweet treats and character moments all rolled into one.

At Superstar Boutique, kids can browse a colourful range of park-exclusive Sanrio merchandise, from plushies and keychains to stationery and accessories featuring favourites like Hello Kitty and Pompompurin. The whole space is decked out with bright backdrops and playful details, so don’t be surprised if your child insists on stopping for photos every few steps. There are also meet-and-greet sessions with Sanrio characters, which add a nice little thrill for younger visitors.

Then there’s Superstar Cafe, where the desserts are very much part of the attraction. Think cute character-inspired sweets like Hello Kitty Strawberry Delight and Kuromi Black Sesame & Vanilla Swiss Roll, alongside colourful drinks that are practically made for photos.

Dorifto!: New Indoor Drifting Arena

Tucked away at Velocity @ Novena Square, this brand-new indoor arena is Singapore’s first-ever drifting experience, designed to make motorsports feel playful, accessible and a little bit cool.

The setup is especially fun for older kids and tweens who are at least 1.2m tall, since that’s the minimum height to drive. No licence or prior experience is needed, so first-timers can hop into one of the electric mini drift cars and learn the ropes in a controlled environment. The cars are fitted with safety bumpers too, which should reassure parents who are picturing full Fast & Furious chaos.

The whole space is styled like a little slice of Japan, with road signs, lanterns, trees and even a nod to Initial D that older anime fans will appreciate. It feels more like stepping into a themed play space than a standard driving track.

When Art Meets Nature at National Gallery Singapore is a lovely screen-free outing to add to your list. Running from Apr 30 to Nov 1, 2026, this free family-friendly exhibition invites children to step into a world of colours, textures and playful imagination inspired by the natural world.

One of the highlights is Peace Forest by Singapore artist Soh Ee Shaun, a magical installation filled with tall trees, animals, insects and leafy plants. Curiosity Cove at Mandai Wildlife East

There’s yet another reason to bring the kids to Changi Airport: the brand-new Hub & Spoke Playground just outside Terminal 2! Set amidst leafy trees, this free outdoor play area is a breath of fresh air for families looking to let little ones stretch their legs before or after a flight.

The playground features multi-level structures designed for kids aged five to 12, complete with climbing nets, ladders, and two exciting slides - including a tall, enclosed spiral slide that twists its way back to the ground. The highlight is the giant spherical tower at the top, where children can climb inside for a bird’s-eye view of the park. Even the padded flooring adds a playful touch, with dinosaur bone motifs that nod to the nearby Jurassic Mile.

The playground is located right beside the Hub & Spoke Café, making for an easy family pit stop.
