The school holidays may be over, but July brings its own kind of reset. For parents, it’s a good time to ease back into routines, ask the questions you’ve been putting off, and find support for the stage of family life you’re in.

This month’s parenting, health and wellness events in Singapore range from baby fairs, fertility forums and breastfeeding talks to first aid workshops, parent-child connection sessions, and timely conversations on AI, learning and screen time. There are also women’s health talks, heart health webinars and meaningful community events to bookmark.

This baby fair for expectant and new parents has been around since 2012 and is a treasure trove of products and advice. Browse through three football fields' worth of pregnancy and baby products. Join the pregnancy and parenthood seminar on 4 July (2pm to 5.30pm), for advice from doctors and lactation experts on breastfeeding need-to-knows and how to prepare for labour. Family Day: World Cup Fiesta!

Enjoy a World Cup-themed day filled with fun and games! Parents can relax and watch a World Cup match live, while kids take part in games and other activities. First Aid For Families - Central - City Hall

Is your family ready for any emergencies that could happen in your home? Join qualified first aid and CPR instructors in this hands-on training session, as they show you how to handle common accidents and injuries at home. Topics include how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants, minor wound care, burns, animal and insect bites, asthma attacks and how to look after an unresponsive person. These life-saving tips will give you peace of mind, and let you feel more comfortable in looking after your family.

Pause, Connect, Repair

This two-part workshop series on emotional co-regulation is for parents of kids aged five to nine. In the first session, parents learn how emotional self-regulation supports better connection with your child, as well as how to apply simple connection strategies to common parenting situations. The second session is a parent-child one. Use simple connection tools to express your feelings and learn how to repair and strengthen parent-child connection through activities and reflection.

Parents Talk: AI in Education

Organised by the Singapore Teachers’ Union, this session will help parents understand artificial intelligence (AI) as well as address concerns on safety and screen time. Language and Literacy Workshop

There are so many milestones to enjoy when your little ones are learning to speak or read. However, you might be worried about when your child will start talking and, later on, if their pronunciation is a cause for concern. A speech therapist from KKH shares tips on how to nurture language and literacy skills in your child, as well as any red flags you should be looking out for. This workshop is for parents of children aged between one and four years old.

Raising a Healthy Breastfed Baby from Birth

Breastfeeding provides your baby with optimal nutrition and aids in their development, but it’s hardly an easy journey for mums. Healthcare experts from KKH share tips on overcoming low milk supply and breast problems during breastfeeding. Also find out how to look after your perinatal mental health and how to handle breastfeeding if you have other health conditions such as diabetes. Fashion For Cancer

This annual charity fashion show brings together cancer patients and survivors as model ambassadors. As they walk down the runway, each of them represents a story of courage, resilience and perseverance. The theme this year is “It Matters”, shining a light on the simplest moments during the cancer journey and how they can bring strength, hope and comfort to those battling cancer. In addition to empowering survivors, the event also encourages open conversations and celebrates the spirit of community. Proceeds from the event will go towards the National Cancer Centre Singapore’s (NCCS) Cancer Fund, which supports cancer research, patient care and education.

Walking/running events

SparkAbility 2026: A Walk for Change

Jointly organised by SPD (formerly Society for the Physically Disabled) and Samaritans of Singapore (SOS), this event aims to advance inclusion, suicide prevention and community health, as well as drive meaningful change together. Diverse communities walk as one, shining a light on our shared need for belonging, connection and compassionate care. Participants can choose to walk 3km or 5km.

The Kiprun Singapore 2026

Lace up for Decathlon Singapore’s first Kiprun race, whether you’re aiming for a personal best, trying your first longer run or simply looking for a fun fitness day out with the family. There are race categories for different levels, including a 21.1km half marathon, 10km and 5km runs, as well as a 670m Kids Dash for children aged six to 11. Expect a lively race-day atmosphere with entertainment zones, music and community energy along the way. It’s a good one to sign up for if you’re looking for a September fitness goal — or a way to get the whole family moving together.

Great Eastern Women’s Run (GEWR) 2026

Singapore’s only all-women’s race celebrates its 20th edition this year. Adults can choose to run in the individual 21.1km, 10km or 5km categories. If you have a daughter aged five to 12, you could make it a fun team event and run together in the Mummy & Me run, which covers 2km. Girls aged three to six can join in the fun too, in the 100m princess dash. All proceeds from GEWR will be directed to Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) and Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) through Community Chest so you’ll be doing your part for a good cause too.
