The world’s second most picture-worthy hotel is located right on our little red dot.

According to an analysis of hashtags and posts by photo printing app Inkifi, luxury hotel and one of our most recognisable landmarks, Marina Bay Sands, is Instagram’s second most photogenic hotel on the globe.

According to Inkifi’s stats, MBS has already clocked 1,875,600 Instagram posts in 2022. And we’re barely halfway into the year. It edged out Caesar’s Palace and MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which bagged the third and fourth spots, respectively.

First place goes to Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with its sail-shaped architecture and perched on its own man-made island. Boasting sublime views of Dubai and the Persian Gulf, it got over 2.5 million Instagram posts.

A mesmerising city skyline

That’s not all. Singapore’s skyline is also one of the most photographed in the world, coming in at number ten on the list of most Instagrammable skylines on the planet. The hashtag #singaporeskyline saw a total of 53,887 Instagram posts.
