Having squeaky clean floors has never been a priority for me, since I have the habit of wearing bedroom slippers at home. However, ever since my baby mastered the art of crawling, I have had no choice but to be on my toes with my cleaning game — such as getting a robot vacuum with a mop.
We have an array of cleaning tools, from a robot to a stick vacuum. Our cleaning equipment was one of the better ones in the market when we purchased them, but they are losing out in terms of efficiency when compared to the latest technology in vacuum cleaners today. While our robot vacuum has a mop function, we never really utilise it since we do not have the time to go through the motions of filling up the tiny water tank and washing the pads every now and then.
For our next purchase, on top of a self-emptying base station, I hope that it comes with a larger water tank with self-cleaning and drying of the mop pads. This will ensure that we will not get lazy with our floor cleaning routine, since the robot vacuum does it all.
