They are yellow. They are adorable. They are fun. And they are BACK! Minion fever has hit us again with the new Despicable Me 3 movie opening this week.

Minions-Despicable-Me-3
The one thing most of us have wondered often are what the yellow critters are babbling on about in their seemingly gibberish language. We did some research and discovered that the Minion’s language, also known as the Banana Language, is a mix of English with other different languages like Spanish, Japanese, Tagalog and Malay. So to understand the Minions you would technically need to learn many languages, but fret not, we’ve put together a glossary of some of the most common terms they use here – have fun learning and speaking!

Despicable Me 3 opens on June 15 in cinemas islandwide.
