Get the kids and get ready to be dazzled because Rainforest Lumina is back for its final season at the Singapore Zoo this July.
If you haven’t yet been or missed its previous seasons, the multimedia night walk is an illuminated one-kilometre-long trail that melds nature with technology — think interactive light, multimedia projections and sound installations that emulates the luminous setting of the rainforest at night.
It’s also got its own Creature Crew of eight virtual animals to accompany you through the journey, from Maya the orang utan to Waja the pangolin and Bob the otter — who carry the message of how humans and nature are interconnected, and how each has a vital role to sustain life on earth. Just note that there aren’t any actual animals involved.
Traipse through its popular interactive play zones, where you’ll get to meet and sing with the Creature Crew members. Then make your way through the Luminous Pathway and be treated to an enthralling laser display.
You can also look forward to the Shimmering Islands with thousands of sparkling pixel lights, be wowed by the digital thunderstorm with a symphony conducted by Bob the otter, and finally, be treated to a stunning laser and projection display to end your night.
The route will likely take you between 45 minutes to an hour, according to the Rainforest Lumina’s website.
A collaboration between Wildlife Reserves Singapore and multimedia entertainment studio Moment Factory, Rainforest Lumina will run until February next year.

Time: 7.15pm to 12am, last admission at 10.15pm
Ticketing: Admission tickets to Rainforest Lumina may be purchased online from 1 July 2021. As part of an opening special, tickets can be purchased at 50% off between July 1 and 7, 2021. Thereafter, local residents can enjoy up to 30% savings (U.P. Adult/Youth $18 and Child/Senior $14). Tickets can be redeemed using SingapoRediscovers Vouchers.
