Step into the spellbinding world of Wicked: For Good at Resorts World Sentosa and across Sentosa Island, where imagination meets magic this festive season. From Nov 10, 2025 to Jan 4, 2026, families can follow the Yellow Brick Road to discover immersive installations and dazzling photo ops inspired by the Land of Oz.

Start your journey at Sentosa Sensoryscape, where the glowing Yellow Brick Road winds through a whimsical garden of tulips, twinkling lights, and Glinda’s dreamy bubble. Then there’s also Curiosity Cove, which opens on Nov 21, 2025 at Mandai Wildlife East. Billed Singapore’s largest indoor nature-inspired playscape, this vibrant, educational space is designed for kids aged three to 12. They can explore four interactive zones inspired by real-world ecosystems, such as the Wetlands (and learn how water connects ecosystems and supports all living things) and the Forestlands, which immerses them in the Southeast Asian rainforest while uncovering hidden animal homes. Over at the Grasslands, they delve into the social hierarchy of wildlife, including predator-prey behaviours, and find out how animals camouflage in the savannah. And finally, the Drylands showcase how fauna and flora adapt to thrive in harsh desert conditions.

Science Centre Singapore has opened its biggest dinosaur exhibition yet! From Oct 11, 2025, families can embark on a prehistoric adventure at Dinosaurs | Extinctions | Us, a colossal showcase spanning 3,000 sqm and covering 400 million years of Earth’s history.

Kids will be wowed by more than 33 rare fossils and 60 full-scale models, including the awe-inspiring Patagotitan mayorum, a 40m giant weighing 70 tonnes. Created by the award-winning team behind The Bicentennial Experience, this 60 to 90-minute free ticketed adventure at Orchard Library combines immersive storytelling, interactive installations, and even generative AI. Children aged seven and up will love picking up an RFID wristband to unlock personalised stories, stepping into futuristic phone booths, and exploring spaces like Windows in the Sky, where floor-to-ceiling visuals respond to their interactions.

For a more casual day out, pop by the free, non-ticketed installations at Orchard Central and Orchardgateway. You can expect everything from an AI-powered photo booth that reimagines Singapore’s history to a whimsical orange phone booth where you can “dial into the future”.

Easties, we come bearing good news: there’s a new indoor playground at Tampines. And it comes with a massive ball pit for the kiddos to play around in.

SkyHop by Yooland has just opened at Tampines Point, marking the brand’s second outlet after Westgate. Spanning two storeys, this mega playground is designed to keep kids entertained for hours. The Singapore Flyer’s Time Capsule is back. Following an upgrade, the two-storey multisensory attraction, which launched in 2020, has opened its doors again with exciting new features.

Follow time-travelling robot R65, who will take you on a journey to explore the island’s 13th-century origins as a bustling trading port to its present-day status as a multicultural, world-class metropolis. You can look forward to new video animations, projection mapping and light detection and ranging technology that’ll bring the experience to life. That’s not all — discover Peranakan-inspired installations, interactive games, and multimedia exhibits that delve into Singapore’s unique identity.

Star Wars Pop-up Library at Changi Airport Terminal 3

The galaxy far, far away is now closer to home. A new Star Wars-themed library by the National Library Board has opened at Changi Airport’s Terminal 3. Located on Level 2 near the Skytrain and linkbridge to Jewel, the pop-up will run from Aug 6, 2025 to Jan 24, 2026.

And it’s not just the decor — it houses a physical collection of over 2,000 Star Wars books, featuring 380 unique titles specially picked by NLB librarians. These cater to readers of all ages, from young Padawans to Jedi Masters, and include titles such as the Star Wars: Darth Vader comic series; Star Wars: The Mandalorian: The Manga series; Star Wars: The High Republic junior novel series; the Thrawn: Ascendancy trilogy novels, and more.

NLB is also piloting an automated book retrieval and return system at the Star Wars Pop-Up Library. With the automated book retrieval system, titles can be selected through a touch-screen kiosk, and a robotic arm would locate and transport the selected items to the collection point for easy pickup.

If your kids love getting hands-on with art and craft, the Children’s Museum Singapore’s brand-new makerspace is worth a visit. As part of SG60 celebrations, Play + Make is a space for young visitors to explore Singapore’s food heritage through imaginative play, creative expression, and sensory learning.

The space transforms the museum’s Discovery Room into a vibrant, interactive zone where kids can design their own kamcheng (a Peranakan porcelain container), make different types of kueh, and throw their very own kueh tea party. There’s even a dress-up station where they can assemble outfits on mannequins and a mini-stage to bring their stories to life.

Activities rotate throughout the year. Look forward to creating paper dolls (Jul to Sep), designing crockery (Oct to Dec), and weaving crafts (Jan to Mar). Beyond drop-in crafts, CMSG will also roll out special storytelling sessions, hands-on workshops, and even curated learning journeys with real-life makers from September onwards.

And while you’re there, check out the Hawkerverse exhibition, which offers a playful, meaningful way for little ones to connect with Singapore’s culture through everyday stories and traditions.

Wan To Play Tropical Drift at Woodlands Civic Centre

Hear ye, hear ye, there’s a new indoor playground in the North. Wan To Play: Tropical Drift is the latest kid-friendly escape at Woodlands Civic Centre, blending imaginative pretend-play zones with interactive games and classic ball-pit fun.

Kids can role-play their way through themed stations - think doctor’s office, car workshop, police HQ and even a vanity corner for aspiring fashionistas. Golf and entertainment centre Clubface has roared to life with Dino Putt, an 18‑hole, dinosaur‑themed mini‑golf circuit the whole family will love. Putt your way past rumbling volcanos, winding ridges and life‑sized animatronic T‑rexes while little dinophiles squeal with delight. Kids can also hop aboard motorised Dino Rides and cruise the course to meet every towering reptile up close.

Lost Islands at The Artground

Step into a world of mythical creatures and hidden tales at Lost Islands, the latest immersive exhibition at The Artground. Created in collaboration with Indonesian artist Rachmi Dewi Pertama, this vibrant installation invites kids to climb atop a giant turtle, explore two-storey folktale books, and dash through a draped batik wonderland — all while learning about Singapore and Indonesia’s shared cultural heritage.

Little ones can tiptoe through Baby Forest Island, inspired by the legend of Sang Nila Utama, or brave The Mythical Dragon’s Back, a textured trail of tactile play. And if your child is a budding performer, rest assured that they’ll love dressing up and acting out stories at the Island Theatre. 

What makes this even more special is the UOB Learning Playzone, where kids explore money concepts through play. They can play pretend and be fishers or shopkeepers, track earnings on punch cards, and spend “currency” at a marketplace boat.
