Your Chinese New Year Survival Guide

The Chinese New Year is upon us! And if you're still scurrying to get things together, we're here to help. The Weekly has come up with a special "website issue", see it as your personal survival guide, where all your Chinese New Year needs and questions will be met.

Hopefully, you've managed to find something pretty for yourself to wear for CNY. If you haven't, it's fine. Shop your own wardrobe and put an outfit together that's inspired by your favourite celebrities like Fann Wong and Zoe Tay. We've also got tips on making your makeup last and last all day - because who has time for touchups!

Much of CNY revolves round the dining table. If it's your turn to host reunion dinner, or you're thinking of cooking a special dish for that potluck gathering, you won't want to miss our delicious tried and tested recipes. I especially love Michelin Star-chef Malcom Lee's Chap Chye and Ayam Buah Keluak recipes - they are as close to my Grandma's as I've ever tasted! Also, if you haven't yet booked a table for yusheng, you'd better do so soonest.
