This Parents’ Day season, if you're looking for a Chinese restaurant to bring your folks to, here are some spots to have on your radar. If they’re all about nostalgic flavours, or a simple, fuss-free celebration that doesn’t require too much travelling (and they can dress comfortably), these restaurants have multiple chains around the island, so you can probably find one in your hood.
1. Soup Restaurant
Best loved for its belly-warming soups and Samsui Ginger Chicken, Soup Restaurant is giving families even more reason to gather around the table with a Parents’ Day feast from now till June 20, 2026. Take your pick from set menus priced from $88++ for two diners. Highlights include the restaurant’s signature Samsui Ginger Chicken, alongside nourishing and indulgent creations such as Fresh Fish Maw with Black Chicken Soup and Braised Abalone with Beancurd Skin & Eight Treasures.
For a celebratory touch, you can get the Longevity Bun Gift Set ($48.80, or $38.80 with any set menu).

2. Dian Xiao Er
Ordering its herbal roast duck is a must, but Dian Xiao Er has plenty more to keep your folks happily stuffed. From now till June 21, 2026, round up the fam and dig into its heartwarming set menus priced from $113 for three people (that’s about $38 per person!) – the Loving Set, Grateful Set and Thankful Set. Whether you dine in or order takeaway, you’ll be treating them to comforting, homestyle flavours given extra flair.
Look forward to the five new dishes that will be rotated across the different set menus, including the Black Truffle Elegance with Chinese Yam & Celtuce, lightly battered Bountiful Golden Prawns with Corn, Claypot Trio Mushrooms with matsutake, morel and velvet mushrooms, tangy Passionfruit Prawns, and Snowy Pomegranate Crispy Pork, lightly fried then coated in a vibrant red sauce.

3. Haidilao
If she likes nothing more than to have everyone gathered over a bubbling hotpot, then you’ll want to consider Haidilao for your celebration - the chain is rolling out various promos that can be stacked, especially if grandpa and grandma are joining in, too. In fact, you can get up to 20% off your bill when dining in. Here’s how it works:

4. Geylang Claypot Rice
If it’s comforting, old-school flavours your parents love — think claypot rice and hearty tze char — make a booking for Geylang Claypot Rice. The restaurant is rolling out a Parents’ Day set menu at $118++ (for four to five), packed with familiar, crowd-pleasing dishes.
Expect hits like crispy prawn paste frog legs and their signature chicken claypot rice, cooked over charcoal for that unmistakable smoky aroma. The spread also includes a generous plate of traditional Hokkien mee with pork lard, along with homely sides such as beancurd skin rolls, prawns with homemade tofu, and stir-fried kai lan with oyster sauce.
To finish, there’s a charcoal-grilled BBQ crab (male), with the option to upgrade to female crabs for $20 (subject to availability). And if you’ve got room for dessert, the aloe vera and lemongrass jelly is a refreshing way to end the meal—going for $3 per serving (U.P. $5.80) with any Parents’ Day set, capped at five portions per order.

5. Yang Ming Seafood
If seafood is her jam, then Yang Ming Seafood is where to make your booking. Choose from one of their exclusive set menus, and you’ll score a sweet 50% off an Australian Lobster. With three menus to choose from, depending on your party size, you can dig into dishes like Drunken Live Prawns, Hong Kong-style Steamed Fish & Marble Goby, Braised Assorted Dried Seafood Pot, and Longevity Noodles.

6. Red House Seafood
From 1 May to 30 June 2026, Red House Seafood is celebrating parents with its 7-Course Parents’ Day Set Menu ($50++ per person), available for lunch and dinner at its Clarke Quay and Grand Copthorne Waterfront restaurants.
You’ll be digging into familiar seafood favourites like Signature Creamy Custard Prawn, Seafood ‘Pao Fan’, and Hand-Peeled Fresh Crab Meat with Chilli Crab Sauce & Golden Crab Mantou. There’s also the longstanding fave, the Spicy Seafood Combination, which features a medley of Canadian scallops, grouper, de-shelled prawns and squid — all stir-fried in a housemade spicy sauce and beaten eggs for added richness.
And that’s not all. Parents will also be treated to a complimentary Molten Lava Longevity Bun filled with warm, flowing salted egg yolk custard. And if you have six guests or more, you’ll get a complimentary Lemongrass-Smoked French-Bred Chicken for sharing.

7. Man Fu Yuan
If mum’s a dim sum fan, Man Fu Yuan is serving up a dim sum buffet exclusively on May 9 and 10, 2026.
Tuck into handcrafted morsels, from Crispy Filo Prawn Pastry with wasabi aioli and tobiko to the Steamed Century Egg Seafood Roll and chef’s signature Steamed Otak-otak Siew Mai.
Alongside the buffet, there’s also a chef’s special that’ll be presented to all mums: Braised Rock Lobster with Superior Master Stock made using 15-year-old hua tiao wine, and Deep-Fried Yam Paste stuffed with Hokkaido scallop, passion fruit mayo and tobiko.

Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at Parkroyal on Beach Road is also serving up an Ala Carte Dim Sum Buffet for lunch every Fri to Sun from now till to July 31, 2026.
You’ll be dithering over what to get, with over 60 Cantonese and Sichuan dishes, including signatures like the Steamed Blue Pea Dumpling with Lobster and the earthy, umami Steamed Dumpling with Wild Mushroom, Truffle and Fish Roe. With sweeping views of the cityscape from level 25 of Andaz Singapore, Cantonese restaurant 5 On 25 presents a lovely setting to nibble on handcrafted dim sum. The Mother’s Day Weekend Yum Cha presents just that, alongside roasted meats and comforting classics.
Nibble on favourites like Snow Crab & Shrimp Dumpling Har Gaw, Steamed Iberico Char Siew Bun, and Crispy Sustainable Maine Lobster Roll in Kadaifi Pastry. 10. Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant
Celebrate Mum with a refined six-course set menu at Wan Hao, featuring premium seafood and meats. Kick things off with Crispy Bird’s Nest with Crab Meat and Sea Urchin Spring Roll cloaked in a creamy lemon yolk sauce, followed by Baked Cod Fish with Fresh Mushroom in Miso Mustard Sauce, and a belly-warming Double-Boiled Fish Maw with Fresh Olive and Pork Soft Bone in Superior Soup.

With set menus curated by master chef Chan Hwan Kee, you can be sure of a spread that will have mum nodding in approval. Highlights include the comforting Braised Fish Maw Soup with Fresh Crabmeat, alongside Steamed Sea Perch Fillet with Olive Leaf and Black Bean, and Claypot Stewed Abalone with Sea Cucumber and Chestnut in Zhu Hou Sauce.
