Curried Turkey With Yoghurt
With the combination of curried minced turkey and yoghurt, it's definitely a great pairing for the palate to indulge in.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 500 g turkey mince
- 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 2 tsps garam masala
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 2 tbsps yoghurt, plus extra to serve
- ⅓ cup coriander, roughly chopped, plus extra to serve
- 1 butter lettuce, leaves separated.
Steps
01. In a large frying pan, heat oil on high. Saute onion and garlic 1-2 mins, until onion is tender. Add turkey, brown well 4- mins, breaking up all lumps.
02. Stir in tomatoes, curry powder and masala. Cook 1- 2 mins.
03. Add 1 cup water, bring to simmer on low. Cook, uncovered, 4-5 mins, stirring occasionally. Mix in peas, and cook 1 min to heat through.
04. Remove from heat. Stir in yoghurt and coriander. Serve in lettuce cups, sprinkled with extra coriander. Accompany with extra yoghurt.
