Curry chicken noodles have two major components: the first is the curry, made with spices, herbs and coconut milk to create a well-balanced heady broth that forms the soul of the dish. The second is chicken, which has to be tender, juicy and flavourful. This isn't an easy dish to master, which is perhaps why it is one of the less common hawker dishes here. Moreover, curry chicken noodles come with a plethora of toppings like tau pok, fish cake and potatoes, which further add to the variables that can break the dish. We've compiled a list of places around Singapore to slurp up this rich, spicy, savoury dish.
