DIY Christmas Treats: Hot Cocoa Candy Canes, Snowmen Cupcakes & Gingerbread Cookies

There's just something about whipping up your own Christmas treats — not only do they add a personal touch as edible food gifts that'll appeal to the foodie in everyone, but you can also have fun with the kiddos in the kitchen, too.

In this video, we've got recipes for pretty frosted gingerbread cookies, as well as jolly hot cocoa candy cane pops that can be swirled into hot milk for a rich and minty hot chocolate drink. And lastly, ultra-cute melting snowmen cupcakes, with marshmallow heads, carrot noses, pretzel arms, and scarves crafted with red fondant (you can get these from your baking supplies store).
