10 Lebanese Restaurants In Singapore With Authentic Flavours
Fresh and hearty, tuck into favourites such as hummus, tabbouleh, falafel, kunefe, and more
By guoxiongho -
Sitting right next to the Mediterranean yet a member of the Middle East region, Lebanon's food culture is a confluence of these influences. The former emphasises using fresh, sweet herbs (such as parsley in tabbouleh), vegetables, seafood, and olive oil. The latter, on the other hand, includes the use of legumes (such as chickpeas in hummus) and earthy spices ranging from cumin to saffron. Yet, Lebanese food has been able to carve its own distinct identity that has greatly contributed to the surrounding food scenes, with commonalities even seen as far as Turkish food. Besides the aforementioned, traditional Lebanese cuisine includes familiar names such as falafel, fattoush, shawarma, kofta, knafeh (or kunefe), and so much more.
Find out below where you can tuck into the delicious, eclectic mix of Lebanese food in Singapore.
