Maple Syrup Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 125 g butter, softened
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• 1/3 cup maple syrup
• ¾ cup plain flour
• ¼ cup cornflour

Steps

01. Preheat oven to 180 C. Grease two large oven trays and line with baking paper.

02. Beat butter, extract and maple syrup in a small bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy; stir in combined sifted flours. Spoon mixture into a piping bag fitted with 1-cm fluted tube.

03. Pipe stars 3 cm apart onto trays. Bake for about 15 mins; cool cookies on tray.
