Fans of flowers and pastries should check out Fysh At Edition, located within The Singapore Edition. The brainchild of American chef and restaurateur Josh Nilard, it focuses on sustainable seafood and steaks. The interior features a green marble bar, a large show kitchen, marble accents, various artworks, and over 300 plants and 160 ferns in the indoor garden.

Between May 8 and 11, Fysh is celebrating Mother’s Day with a floral-themed afternoon tea. All mothers will also take home a curated cake by executive pastry chef Alex Chong.

There are two afternoon menus to pick from: Botanical Bliss ($58++ per person) and Orchid Garden ($78++ per person). They both contain savoury and sweet treats, ranging from Foie Gras Tart accented with hibiscus jam and Mushroom Croquette to Homemade Scone and pastries like Enchanted Forest, Mossy Meadow, and Blossom Delight. The latter further includes Cucumber & Labneh topped with Oscietra caviar, Smoked Lobster Roll, and Midnight Berry chocolate almond sponge.

Caviar takes centre stage at Ginger.Lily’s Mother’s Day celebration. The Caviar Teatime Soiree is available from May 9 to the end of June ($68++ per person). A special masterclass will take place only on May 11 ($88++ per person).

As the name suggests, Ginger.Lily draws inspiration from the design of the ginger lily plant for its contemporary but cosy interior decor, as well as native herbs, flowers, and spices for its food and cocktails.

The masterclass will delve into four caviar varieties — Russian, Tradition, Majestic, and Savoury — where you can learn more about their origins and ideal pairings. Every mum dining on May 11 will also take home a mother-of-pearl spoon to commemorate the occasion.

Foodwise, the afternoon tea will include various savouries, such as the caviar-topped Creme Fraiche Vol-Au-Vent and an Egg & Caviar sandwich. Finally, tuck into sweet treats such as the Yuzu Kumquat Roll and Nantais Rose Cake, and wash them down with either the Black Pearl cocktail or Royal Roe mocktail, both made with caviar distillate.

Enjoy an intimate and serene afternoon with your mom while tucking into modern bite-sized versions of Singaporean dishes with the Heritage Afternoon Tea ($59++ per person) at Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore's Lobby Lounge. It is available from May 5 to 11 with two seating times: 12.30pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 5pm.

The menu is split into three chapters. Start with bites of Foie Gras Butter Kaya Butter Toast, Kurobuta Pork Chop, and Bandung Marble Cake before relishing in Chilli Crab Petit Pain and Bubur Cha Cha Panna Cotta. If your mum is a big foodie who loves variety, then head over to L’Espresso’s afternoon tea buffet, which features English and European classics. The buffet is available only from May 3 to 4 ($78++ per adult, $53++ per child) and May 10-11 ($98++ per adult, $58++ per child).

L'Espresso has been serving afternoon tea since the 1970s, establishing a reputation for its food and the cosy yet spacious and breezy poolside terrace.

Available only at the Oasia Hotel Downtown location, the Mother’s Day Bottomless Afternoon ($98++ for two people) at The Marmalade Pantry is a one-day event on May 11. Each set comes with complimentary welcome drinks, two pots of tea, and a curated gift set of signature pantry items valued at over $30.

Whether you are vegan, have nut or gluten allergies, or have no dietary restrictions, The Courtyard has you covered. From April 1 to June 30, 2025, its Traditional Afternoon Tea is on the menu ($58++ per adult or $29++ per child) features four options to choose from: regular, Vegan, Nut-free, and Gluten-free, each served with a pot of TWG tea or Bacha coffee. Mothers dining on May 11 will also receive a complimentary TWG Tea Geisha Blossom Tea Jelly.

Certain items are only found in one menu, especially for vegans. Did you know that homegrown shoe label Pazzion has a cafe in Takashimaya? Between May 1 and 31, the brand has curated the Elegant High Tea Affair ($59++ for two people). It is available between 2pm to 5pm on weekdays and 1.30pm to 5.30pm on weekends.

It's a three-tiered affair, starting at the top with Crispy Fried Halloumi on Sourdough with Apple-Date Chutney and Fig. The middle tier has Mini Chocolate Brownies, Creamy Cheesecake, Macarons, and Caramelised Canelés. Finally, the last tier has Mashed Avocado with Egg, Bacon, and Mozzarella on Sourdough, Chilli Crab Meat on Mantou topped with ebiko and chives, and Sweet & Spicy Chicken Breast on a nacho chip.
