Ahead, we've rounded up dining spots that have created limited edition, local-themed dining menus and treats to make the celebration even more special. Heritage Afternoon Tea, The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore
The Lobby Lounge at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore has rolled out a Heritage Afternoon Tea. Divided into three chapters, it takes guests on a journey through Singapore's history and iconic flavours, each with a different tea pairing, from Mist Valley Pu-Er tea to Mist Valley Lapsang Shouchong tea.
There's a modern twist on the Hainanese chicken rice, featuring poached chicken breast atop a rice ball with a dab of punchy garlic chili puree, as well as a Hainanese Kurobuta Pork Chop in a brioche sando with classic HP ketchup sauce. Singapore's favourite breakfast, Kaya Toast, is elevated with light silky foie gras butter and hen’s egg foam.
Other savouries include an Otak Otak Toothfish, Kueh Pie Tee with Spicy Tuna, and a Laksa Espuma atop steamed scallop prawn curd.
Sweets include the Ondeh Ondeh Cake, a Bubur Cha Cha panna cotta with chewy boba, Milo Dinosaur Berliner, and Ice Cream Uncle, a fun take on the local ice cream sandwich.

Intercontinental Singapore's Italian restaurant Luce is wooing diners with a spread of both Italian and Singapore-style dishes for its National Day Buffet.
Tuck into familiar flavours, like the Goan Prawns Masala, Ayam Masak Merah, the signature InterContinental Laska, Fried Hokkien Noodles, Lobster Popiah and more. Ya Kun Kopi Pon De Ring and Ya Kun Kaya Cream donut, Mister Donut x Yakun Kaya Toast
Two beloved brands on our shores — Yakun Kaya Toast and popular Japanese doughnut chain Mister Donut — have joined hands to launch two limited edition flavours for August.

The Gyu Bar has rolled out two limited-edition creations that showcase two well-loved flavours, available from Aug 1 to 11, 2024 for dine-in only. These dishes are bundled as a National Day Combo ($59++), with the price a salute to Singapore’s 59th birthday.
The Wagyu Bak Kut Teh ($35++) is a riff on the traditional pork rib soup that uses succulent Kagoshima rib fingers instead, along with bean curd puffs, and bean curd skin in an aromatic broth. Another twist on a local delight is the Wagyu Otak Katsu Sando ($32++). This sees minced Kagoshima Wagyu with spicy and savoury fish paste in a golden-brown juicy cutlet, wedged between toasted Japanese shokupan slices.

Har Cheong Gai Chicken Burger and Satay Burgers, McDonald’s Singapore
McDonald’s is back with its hawker-inspired delights, from the returning Har Cheong Gai Chicken Burger to the all-new Satay Burgers (all priced from $8.90 each for an Extra Value Meal).
Dive into the Satay Chicken Burger or the Satay Beef Burger. Make it a heartier affair with Crisscut Fries, or wash it down with the Thai Milk Tea Frappe (both from $4.70 a la carte). If you’re seeking a sweet treat, complete your meal with a delicious Coconut Soft Serve.

Pan Pacific Singapore's award-winning buffet restaurant, Edge, will celebrate Singapore's National Day with a special "Flavours of the Lion City: A Culinary Expedition Through Singapore" buffet spread.

Yan Cantonese restaurant celebrates Singapore’s 59th birthday with a National Day Dim Sum Menu (from $6++), available until Aug 31, 2024. Each delicacy on the menu artfully combines Cantonese tradition with local inspirations.
