Year-end parties are back in full swing after a couple of years of relatively pared-down events. And if you’re looking to celebrate New Year's Eve with an indulgent dinner and a gorgeous view (and possibly catch the NYE fireworks), we've got the lowdown. Mr Stork and 665 Degrees Fahrenheit at Andaz Singapore

Dine at 38-storeys from the ground at Andaz Singapore’s steakhouse 665 Degrees Fahrenheit, which has a five-course tasting menu ($208++ per person) of tempting plates. Think Sakoshi Bay oyster tempura, a Boston lobster cocktail with Kaluga Queen caviar, and blue cod bouillabaisse to kick things off. For mains, you get the choice of grilled A4 Kagoshima Wagyu Striploin or Patagonian toothfish. Wine pairing is available at an additional $138++.

Or if bites and cocktails sound more like your thing, then head up to the rooftop Mr Stock, which is celebrating with an 80s-themed party from 8pm to 1am. Soak in the magnificent view, while you party it up with bottomless booze, canapes, a-la-minute delights and a live DJ set by local musician Brendon P. Packages start from $298++ per person.

Sol & Luna

Perched on the 17th storey of CapitaSpring in the CBD, Latin European bistro Sol & Luna’s full-height glass windows afford views of towering skyscrapers and cityscape. For New Year’s Eve, it’s sending out a five-course menu with options like pan-roasted prawns with chorizo, sherried onion and saffron veloute, the Sol & Luna Carne Asada and wood-fired Chilean seabass.

And after dinner, you can enjoy access to the 1-Arden Rooftop Bar to join in the countdown party and watch the Marina Bay countdown fireworks.

To soak in views of the cityscape while you tuck into contemporary Italian fare, get Altro Zafferano (nestled at level 43 of the Ocean Financial Centre) on your shortlist. There's the New Year's Eve five-course gala dinner menu ($650++ per person; early bird $498++ per person) that starts from 6pm till late. Or if you prefer an earlier time slot, go for the four-course dinner ($188++ per person) that starts at 6pm for a mesmerising sunset vista while you dine, and wraps up at 8pm.
On the menu, there are the likes of Hokkaido sea urchin ice cream for starters, langoustine tortellini, Miyazaki wagyu beef, sole fish and black cod.
Or head to the alfresco Terrace Lounge for the countdown party where you can admire the city view. The package starts from $1,800++ for four persons (from 9pm till late) and there's a bottle of NV Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne, as well as a platter of snacks for each guest. Think bites like Italian oyster with sea urchin ice cream, bluefin tuna, capellini and Miyazaki wagyu beef tartare.

You'll get stunning views and refined surroundings at Skai, the contemporary grill restaurant up on the 70th floor of Swissôtel The Stamford.

According to its website, its 'After 8' New Year's Set Dinner (8pm to 1pm) is fully booked, but you can still go for its four-course New Year's Eve Set Dinner ($198++) held from 5pm to 7.30pm on Dec 31, 2022. You'll be dining on Hokkaido scallop, sea bass with a leek risotto and black truffle, wagyu short rib, and a white chocolate and passion fruit tart.

For an unforgettable celebration, The Lighthouse will be opening exclusively on Dec 31 for a New Year’s Eve 6-Course Degustation Menu ($588++, 6.30pm to 12.30am). It also comes with a glass of champagne and access to The Lighthouse rooftop for an unobstructed view of the fireworks.

For light bites and drinks, you can also go for the Rooftop Table Package with Live Music ($1,088++ for four persons), which includes two bottles of champagne or premium spirits, and a snack platter that you can dive into while enjoying a live music performance.

Guests can also access the rooftop for drinks at a cover charge of $188 nett, which includes two glasses of champagne, house wine, beer or house pour spirits. From 7pm till late.

Perched on the rooftop of the National Gallery Singapore, cocktail bar Smoke & Mirrors is known for its panoramic views of Singapore’s skyline and inventive cocktails.


An a la carte menu is available for its first seating (6pm to 8pm), but from 9pm to 1am, there's a New Year's Eve Special Menu ($1088++ for two persons). Not only can you guzzle down a free-flow of cocktails, champagne and wine, but there's also festive sharing platter (one-time serving) of freshly shucked Sun Seeker oysters, truffle fries, six tacos, and vegetable tempura.

Located 55 storeys above Ion Orchard, multi-concept sky-high lifestyle destination 1-Atico has various dining options that each afford remarkable views.

At Argentinian restaurant Fire, dishes are made with fresh produce, you can expect top-shelf cuts of meat that are grilled to juicy perfection. For New Year's Eve dinner, tuck into a three-course feast ($188++ per person) that kicks off with Hokkaido scallop ceviche or foie gras. For mains, choose from either wood-fired grilled Argentinian beef strip loin, or red snapper fillet. For dessert, there's a Valrhona chocolate pave.

Its neighbour, Nikkei Japanese-Peruvian bar Flnt, serves up dishes heavily inspired by Nikkei cuisine from Peru, as well as a fine selection of world-class sakes, and Nikkei-inspired cocktails. Its New Year's Eve menu ($238++ per person) will have you in a celebratory mood with an appetiser platter (think tuna belly and hamachi ceviche), Japanese sweet potato monaka (wafer), alongside a choice of grilled A4 Japanese Wagyu or miso lobster for mains. Then move on to sushi, soup, and yoghurt panna cotta or a chocolate jackfruit dessert to end your meal.

Cable car dining

Usher in the new year in your own private cable car and glorious views of the harbour with the Sky Dining Celebration Cabins by Mount Faber Leisure Group.

Exclusively on Dec 31, 2022, you'll be sampling a five-course meal specially curated by award-winning Danish chef Henrik Jyrk. Your experience starts at Arbora Bistro at Mount Faber Peak, where you'll be greeted with welcome drinks and an appetiser of Danske Rejer, (sweet Danish Shrimps on warm Danish brioche bread), and Koldrøget laks, an artisanal smoked salmon dish. There's also an additional selection of Nordic-Asian Snacks, such as Æbleskive with Danish Bacon and Black Truffle, and Fresh Oyster served with Danish Cherry and Japanese Sake Vinaigrette.

You'll then be ushered into your own cable car cabin, where you can dig into sous-vide duck leg confit or pan-fried scallops. Chef Henrik's signature rice pudding follows, with a scattering of crunchy almonds and tart Danish cherries.
