For busy nights when you need one balanced dish to serve with rice, this Pork And Green Bean Stir-Fry will satisfy the whole family

Yield: 4 to 6 Servings
Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Difficulty Level: 1/5

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 500 g pork mince
  • 200 g green beans, trimmed, halved
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tbsps kecap manis
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cups Chinese cabbage, shredded
  • 1 lime, juice, plus extra wedges to serve (optional)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • Steamed rice, to serve

Steps

01. In a wok, heat oil on high. Stir-fry mince 4 to 5 mins, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, until well browned.

02. Add beans, white end of onions and garlic. Stir-fry 1 to 2 mins, until beans are tender-crisp.

03. Stir combined kecap manis, soy and sesame oil through. Bring to simmer. Toss cabbage and juice through, and stir-fry 1 min.

04. Sprinkle with remaining green onion and sesame seeds. Serve with rice on the side and extra wedges, if you like.
