Roasted Sesame Edamame Beans

You can snack your way through any slump with a cup full of these healthy and delicious edamame beans. Slathered in a mixture of olive oil, sesame seeds and salt flakes, they are then roasted to a light shade of green, golden brown for their signature savoury smokiness.

Ingredients

  • 500 g edamame (soy beans), shelled
  • 2 tsps olive oil
  • 2 tsps black sesame seeds
  • 2 tsps white sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp salt flakes

Steps

01. Preheat oven to 220 C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.

02. Place ingredients in a medium bowl; stir to combine. Spread mixture onto tray.

03. Bake for 15 mins or until golden.

TIP

You can use fresh or frozen (thawed) edamame. To quickly thaw the beans, place in a heatproof bowl, top with hot water; stand for 1 minute. Drain, then shell.
