If you're trying to eat healthily but don't want to be eating plain chicken breast fillets and vegetables every day, here's an idea: Marinate chicken breast pieces with some teriyaki sauce, and pair with seaweed and soba noodles. Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken Breast, skinless, boneless and diced
  • 2 tablespoons Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Black Sesame Seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp White Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce or Tamari
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 sheet Seaweed, unseasoned
  • 1/2 packet Soba Noodles

Steps

01. Cut the skinless raw chicken into cubes and then marinate with some teriyaki sauce. Ideally 30 mins or more.

02. Once done, saute the chicken in a pan till fully cooked through.

03. In a pot of salted boiling water cook the soba noodles till al dente. When cooked, drain it and rinse in cool water to stop the cooking process.

04. In a pan, dry roast the black and white sesame seeds till fragrant.

05. Toss the cooked soba with some light soy sauce and sesame oil.

06. Tear the seaweed into bite sized pieces.

07. To serve assemble the noodles on the bottom topped with the chicken first. Then sprinkle with sesame seeds and the seaweed pieces.
