The Cutest Bunny-Themed CNY Goodies For The Year Of The Rabbit
Hop into the new year with these creative and utterly adorable treats

The rabbit's decidedly one of the cutest zodiac animals, and with it being the Year of the Rabbit, we've unsurprisingly spotted a number of CNY treats either shaped like or emblazoned with the adorable creature. Scroll down for some of the eye-catching treats that make for delightful gifts or additions to your snack table.
Restaurant and cakery Mad About Sucre has a festive Lunar New Year cake set ($70) of five adorable gluten-free cakes, including two in the shape of bunny heads — and they boast interesting flavours with a couple of boozy options, too. Individual cakes are available as well (from $14).
Dig into a plantain, orange maple and buckwheat creation, or alcoholic cakes with flavours of osmanthus, rock melon, sake, seaweed and quinoa. There's also a cake with chestnut, rum and blood orange.

Handcrafted with snow skin and shaped like plump bunnies, these Bunny Yam Snowskin Buns from dim sum restaurant Ju Signatures will delight grownups and children alike. They're available as a set together with baked pineapple ingots ($38 for eight pieces).

These Bountiful Bunnies ‘Nian Gao’ with Black Sesame Paste ($59.80 for eight pieces) from Goodwood Park Hotel are (almost) too adorable to sink your teeth into. But once you do, you'll be rewarded with oozy, nutty sesame paste. The soft exterior's made with glutinous rice flour and coconut milk, with a hint of coconut fragrance.
It's all cracked up to be a smashing new year with Janice Wong's adorable Rabbit Chocolate Sculpture ($42.50) that you can break open with a mini mallet to reveal chocolate-coated nuts.

It's the year for White Rabbit. To celebrate this year's zodiac animal sign, this nostalgic brand from our childhood has rolled out three special-edition boxes of biscuits and sweets.
There's the special 60th Anniversary Tin, as well as a Retro Tin that pay homage to the brand’s classic design from the 80s. Both are filled with its signature candy. The brand has also introduced five new flavours of its classic candy, available with the special edition Chinese New Year tin – think red bean, coffee, yoghurt, mustard and prune drops. Plus, the CNY tin also doubles as a tissue box.
Available at two limited-time pop-up booths; Tang Plaza B1, now till Jan 19, 2023 (Thurs, 11am to 9pm daily), and VivoCity Central Court Atrium, now till Jan 20 (Fri, 10am to 10pm daily).
Godiva's luscious chocolate bonbons and pralines now come in festive iterations. For one, its signature G Cube truffles are now available in a cheery rabbit-shaped tin, with flavours like Milk and Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate Strawberry, Milk Chocolate Matcha and Milk Chocolate Hazelnut.
It has also debuted four new chocolates ($4.50 each), adorned with illustrations of rabbits. There's the Almond Ganache Dark Chocolate, Passionfruit Coconut Rice pudding, Pistachio Praline Milk Chocolate and the Strawberry Ganache White Chocolate. You can get these as gift boxes too (from $63 for nine pieces).

Sanrio's iconic bunny character My Melody stars in Lady M's new Lunar New Year gift set ($120). The keepsake box, depicting My Melody against a folding fan and plum blossoms to signify luck and hope for the year ahead, is fashioned as a cabinet with six pull-out drawers.
Each contains seasonal bonbons with flavours like Golden Tangerine Pearl and Prosperous Plum Blossoms. It also comes with five limited-edition Red Confetti Envelopes for a prosperous shake of glittery fun.

Inside these plump and seriously cute rabbit-shaped morsels with a snow skin exterior is decadent mao shan wang (Musang king) durian flesh. Save the calorie counting for after CNY.
For the festive season, Tim Ho Wan has introduced a line-up of CNY treats like a pan-fried mochi nian gao, deep-fried taro cake with crispy garlic, and crabmeat fried rice with sakura ebi.
To round off your meal, there's the tangy and refreshing Yuzu Bunny Konnyaku Jelly ($6.50 for two pieces), crafted as a pair of bunnies using milk-based konnyaku jelly and embedded with yuzu bits.
