I love celebrating Chinese New Year especially with the New Year decorations, lion dances, visiting friends and relatives and filling the kitchen with all sorts of Chinese New Year goodies. But also because Chinese New Year coincides with peak citrus season.

And lucky for us, not only do citrus fruits symbolise good fortune and prosperity during Chinese New Year, but they are also amazing ingredients to add to both sweet and savoury dishes. So today we’ll look specifically at three types of citrus and some recipe ideas for using them up.
