Turkey Bolognese Pizzas
Tired of using leftover mince in a pasta dish? Here's a delicious way to combine mince with tomato sauce for easy, cheesy Turkey Bolognese Pizzas

Ingredients
- 2 tbsps olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, peeled, finely diced
- 1 celery stalk, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 500 g turkey mince
- 500 g jar tomato pasta sauce
- ½ cup water
- 6 individual pizza bases (you can also use wraps)
- 1 cup grated pizza cheese
- Basil, rocket leaves, to serve
Steps
01. Preheat oven to hot, 200 C.
02. In a large frying pan, heat oil on medium. Saute onion, carrot and celery 4 to 5 mins, until onion is tender. Add garlic. Cook 1 min.
03. Increase heat to high. Add mince. Brown for about 6 to 8 mins, breaking up the lumps with a wooden spoon.
04. Stir in pasta sauce and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium. Simmer 8 to 10 mins, until sauce thickens. Allow to cool.
05. Place pizza bases on oven trays. Spread 2/3 cup Bolognese mixture over each base. Sprinkle evenly with cheese.
06. Bake 15 to 20 mins, until cheese is golden and bubbling. Scatter with leaves and serve in wedges. Accompany with a salad, if you like.
