Indonesian coffee chain Kenangan Coffee (also known as “Kopi Kenangan” in Indonesia) has made its debut on our sunny shores. The 62-seater nestled within Raffles City Shopping Centre spans 915 sq ft.
Signature drinks include the Kenangan Latte (from $4.90), a blend of espresso and Black Aren, which is palm sugar derived from the sap of the Arenga Pinnata Palm in Java. This adds fruity, caramel-like, and subtly smoky notes. Other brws to go for include the Creamy Latte (from $4.90) and the Avocado Coffee (from $6.50). For non-coffee options, try the Ice Shaken Strawberry or Passion Fruit Teas (from S$4.50), Hot or Ice Chocolate, or Avocado Milk.
Pair your java with a bite or two. Pastries like the classic Pain Au Chocolate ($3.20), a sweet-meets-savoury Salted Caramel Cruffin ($4.20), and Creamy Chicken Pie ($6.20) are on the menu.
Kenangan Coffee is at #B1-K10, Raffles City Shopping Centre, 252 North Bridge Rd, Singapore 179103.

Boeuf and Le Matin Patisserie team up for a collaborative four-hands menu
Photo: Boeuf
Contemporary bistro Boeuf and Le Matin Patisserie are presenting a tempting six-course menu that marries Boeuf's chef Carlos Gan's beef know-how with the decadent pastries of Chef Mohamed Al-Matin from Le Matin Patisserie.
A Wagyu Steak Tartare, using prime Australian F1 Wagyu MS 6 beef, herb-infused yolk and lumpfish caviar atop Le Matin's buttery sourdough-based croissant, starts the ball rolling, before moving on to a creamy Burratina di Puglia with sweet tangy balsamic reduction.
Mains come in the form of the Horseradish Sweet Shrimp Tartine with succulent poached prawns atop the same sourdough-based croissant. Then there's the luxurious Filet Mignon Rossini, an Australian MS 3 tenderloin steak served with seared foie gras. A drizzle of pepper jus, pickled mustard seeds and laminated brioche feuilletee tie it all together.
The menu's rounded off with two tempting desserts, starting with Chef Al-Matin’s Fromage de VosReves, a cheesy sweet delight whipped into comte sponge doused in Reblochon cremeux, enriched with Brillat savarin mousse and finished off with milk crumble glaze. Chef Carlos lends his hand to the second dessert of Moelleux au Chocolat made from Weiss Komele 70% cacao, made even more indulgent with Madagascar vanilla and whipped mascarpone.
$128++ for two persons, available from Oct 1 to 31, 2023, only at Boeuf. Boeuf is at 159 Telok Ayer Street Singapore, 068614. Visit its page for reservations.
