Ngoh hiang, or wu xiang, usually refers to a meat roll made of ingredients such as prawn, pork and water chestnuts flavoured with the classic Chinese spice blend. It can also refer to the hawker stall offering of a plethora of deep-fried fritters, including moreish prawn crackers and vermillion-hued guan chang sausages, usually paired with a plate of fried bee hoon, or rice vermicelli. Whichever you decide to have, here are 10 places to get ngoh hiang in Singapore - from home-based businesses to hawker stalls.

Ah Ma's Ngoh Hiang

Ah Ma's Ngoh Hiang is a home-based business started by brothers Desmond and Melvin Kang after their printing business was forced to close due to the pandemic. The production is a family affair using their grandmother's recipe as they need all the help they need to complete the orders. The selections here are Original Ngoh Hiang, Pork Meatball and Prawn Pancake.
