If your job requires you to meet your clients or if you are required to go on-site for site checks, having long hair clinging to the nape of your neck is not the most comfortable way to complete your work for the day. You’ll be glad to know that the bun hairstyle has always been the favorite of many office workers, especially in this hot climate.
Park Min-ying’s classic hairstyle in the drama – the low bun hairstyle – is created with two smaller ‘buns’. First, gather the hair at the base of the neck and into a low ponytail. Then, half the ponytail before flicking it upwards to get a U-shape loop of hair at the base. Segment this part out and tie it up with the hair tie. From there, loop in the extra pieces. Although it may seem difficult but once you get the hang of it it you’ll be surprised at how very simple it is.
For this look, push back all the bangs to the back of the ear and then gather the rest of the hair into a low ponytail. This look is neat and elegant look, one that is often seen by the office ladies in Gangnam.
This is a feminine hairstyle that helps to keep the bangs away from the eyes while gently framing the face. These waves are not difficult to achieve. The correct way is not to divide the bangs into left and right rolls, but to comb them into a bundle and then roll them from top to bottom. After a few minutes, once they are slightly cooled, shake them out for a natural wavy look.
For this look, use a large barrel to achieve the soft loose curls. If you don’t have a hair curler at home, it’s ok to start with a large velcro curler as well!
If you are not good at curling your hair yet, go for the soft and shiny straight hairstyle as seen on Park. The look is both neat and professional. Remember to apply a heat protectant before you start on the heated hair tools! You can try this IGK Call Time Styling Primer to protect your precious locks.
