Boil some dried chrysanthemum flowers and peppermint leaves as tea to improve the flow of “qi” in the liver.
When you’re having a flu or symptoms relating to the common cold, it’s easy to feel discomfort around the chest area.
Tangerine peels are said to contain flavanoids and antioxidants to help boost your immunity.
The longan fruit is said to be great at aiding in digestion and if you’re finding it hard to sleep because you’re experiecing indigestion or heart burn, munch on some longan or make yourself a nutritious cheng tng (a refreshing local dessert) with plenty of dried longan.
A type of orchid species, dried dendrobium is often used in traditional Chinese medicine to aid with plenty of ailments.
Chinese dates are great for treating insomnia and you don’t really need to do much to prepare it. Add them into soups when boiling or just stir fry them with vegetables.
