In an interview for her friend, Yoyo Cao’s website, Yoyokulala, Arissa says the ’90s fashion was the main inspiration behind her first collection. Arissa also mentioned that the clothes are very much inspired by her personal style.
If you’re one of the 356k people following her on Instagram, you’ll know that Arissa absolutely loves her dogs, Bowie, Butcher and Hercules.
They’re always appearing on her feed and it appears, even her fans love her dogs too. Once, when a hacker tried to create an Instagram account using photos of Arissa’s dogs, her fans were quick to report the account. In just 24 hours, the account was taken down.

In an interview with Buro 24/7 Singapore, when asked what she’d be doing if she wasn’t working in fashion, Arissa said, “I would be a housewife with a full house of kids and English bulldogs!”
And it shows! Besides posting about her dogs and immediate family members, the heiress often posts of herself and kids closest to her.
Another thing we’re noticing from her Instagram account is that Arissa frequently shares the music she’s listening to. While her favourite genre seeems to be rock, she’s occasionally shared her preference for hip hop and indie music — the latest being Vanesa Paradis.
They’re mostly from the upper echelons of Singapore and Hong Kong’s society and they travel together too. When Arissa’s first fashion show took place in Singapore, her friends (and Hong Kong heiresses) Rigel Davis and Eleanor Lam flew down to support her.
